Thank you for your interest!

We are helping a local professional production company gauge the publics level of interest in an annual professional Haunted House attraction somewhere in Cache County. Salt Lake and Orem Utah have professional run Haunted Attractions. Many residence and students within Northern Utah and Southern Idaho have to drive all the way to Salt Lake in order to enjoy a production of this magnitude.

The corn maze and pumpkin walk can be fun events for everyone. Many people however want the choice of a fun event or a scary fun event. Logan has had some past haunted events such as Terror Hollow, these events were lower scale but well done. We are exploring the ability of having an attraction more on the level of Rocky Point Haunted House. Much equipment and knowhow is already available for our use.

There has been an increasing level of interest over the past few years to have such a production. We need two things from those of you who read this. 1. Register on this website and post within this forum your general ideas and input. For example, what would scare you the most? Where in the valley would be a good spot to have a Haunted Attraction? 2. Let us know if you would be interested in volunteering in various early-stage capacities such as planning, promotions, committees and so on. We will E-mail you at the address you used to sign onto this website.

Simply put, the Corn maze sucks, and Terror Hollow is mediocre, its about the quality you'd get from someone's home made haunted house. Parlor Ticks and Crappy costumes..

No, what Logan needs is a good Haunted House, one with Animatronic's, Smoke, Mirrors, and lots of Strartling. Quite honestly, its not the "Look" that scares, its the "startling" that scares. You want a good haunted house? Sure i'll Volunteer my efforts, but only ask me to work on this if you REALLY want a good haunted house.

I've been to haunted houses over the united states.
North Carolina, Georgia, Colorado, Florida, Virginia, Conneticut, Deleware. I've seen the best, I've seen the worst, I know what scares, and I know what doesn't. Sorry ladies and gents, Jason and Freddy might of worked back in the the early 90s and late 80s, but they just aren't scary anymore.

Send me an e-mail if you want my help..

Update on the Haunted House for 2007!

A location has been purchased for the 2007 season and beyond. The location is Richmond, Utah just west of the main highway. The building use to be a cheese factory. There have been many movies such as "The Drip" and "Shift" shot within the building. There is currently a movie production shooting there called "SCHUNE." The building is older and in need of some cleaning/repair. It’s as solid as a rock though! If you have ever taken a tour through a cave, you will know somewhat of what it will be like inside. Very scary, cold, dark, damp and musty! It has around 200,000 square feet. The production has the potential of being as large and as well done as the Rocky Point production. Advertising will target Northern Utah, Southern Idaho and the Wasatch front down to about Provo, Utah.

Due to the costs involved with the building among other items, the production quality will build up and get better over the next 2-3 years. This will be a professional production. Several sponsors are already on board. If you have any interest in helping out or being involved, please post your information here within the next little while.
